ABOUT US

Norto5 KIDZ began in June 2006 when Peter and Carolyn Bird together with their son, Harley decided to open a nursery school. This seemed to be a natural product of each of their skills because Carolyn had many years of experience in childcare, as a foster parent, a mother and then as a childcare practitioner.

Peter is a Chartered Accountant so he is able to attend to the administration and Harley has a lot of IT experience so could create all the management systems. Harley is a highly qualified IT technician who is well suited to ensuring that the business runs efficiently from a process perspective.

My daughter has been going here since she was 2 and has loved every second of her nursery experience. The girls ( & Jack!) do nothing but go above and beyond for the children within the setting and I couldn’t recommend them highly enough. So sad writing this knowing today is the last day of her nursery journey before she starts big school, maybe we could shrink you to pocket size and bring you with us? ?❤️

This nursery is amazing, If I could give it 6 stars I would. The staff goes above and beyond their line of duty, they greet the kids with a smile every morning, their warmth shows. My son loved it here. I would highly recommend this nursery.

Very warm and friendly setting, surrounded by the most amazing view and with nature on your doorstep for the little ones to explore. The staff are a world of knowledge, full of kindness and will always have your little ones best interests at heart, whether this be from a hug when their down to interacting in role play. Also there’s the added bonus of being able to watch your child on the webcam to reassure us parents that our pride and joys are having fun, being well looked after and are thriving in a happy and healthy environment. Highly recommended.

Brilliant nursery. Lovely friendly staff with lots of fun activities everyday. My Daughter loves going there, and looks forward to her time there. Play is imaginative and focuses on natural/wooden toys and activities which I love. Thank you to the brilliant staff for all your hard work and for making her time there so enjoyable.

My daughter loves nursery and this is down to the wonderful staff who have made her feel so comfortable. Her days always sound so much fun and she's beaming when I pick her up. Would definitely recommend, particularly to anyone who wants their child to have lots of outdoor fun and games ?

Can't recommend this nursery enough! We started when my boy was 20 months old. 2 weeks adapting process and now 8 months later my little boy is happy to go to nursery and does not want to leave at the end of the day. The location is very good. It's on the field so a lot of space to play football. ?? As a HR with 15 years experience I know for sure that in the business like that 99% of success is people. Ellie, Jack thank you so very much for looking after my little boy so well!!!!
